CGHI's Initiatives to Improve Health Outcomes Globally

The Center for Global Health Innovation is building a Global Health Innovation District, a first-of its-kind physical hub of collaboration, discovery and invention that will unite leaders in the global health, life sciences and technology sectors. Slated to open in 2023, the Innovation District will create a nexus for global health advancement, where members and visitors can convene and collaborate in a central place that stimulates, facilitates and accelerates innovation, R&D, and collaboration. A long-term lease is being negotiated in a 49-story building in midtown Atlanta’s Tech Square. District features:

  • State of the art conference center and training facilities
  • Shared wet laboratory benches and suites
  • Office space for corporations, NGOs, universities, midsize and small businesses, venture firms, and foreign investment offices
  • Working kitchen, food service, and coffee bars
  • Headquarters for Center for Global Health Innovation
  • Bio-Banking facility
  • World-class design and operation with partners
